Believe it or not, I have one of Nigel Tuffnel's plectrums. I've always got it with me at gigs...so for a small fee.... It has Spinal Tap on one side and Nigel Tuffnel on the other.

The over all sound was Steve Lillywhite, the songs and parts were all ours. We were actually pretty good you know.

thanks for that piece Derek, i saw you guys on the support for that album, in a small club in jersey. you did some old and new, nice mix. nice treats for your fans. you were slapping away, no blood letting from the hands of the bass player however.

Wow, two great albums in a same photo. Those bloody bass lines of "Sparkle in the rain" are amazing, as all the music. And that Big Country album is great, too!

Maybe they are in the "where are they now" row, but they're still there... :)

yes, i played the tuba & cello, but then switch to bass after i saw Mr. Forbes & Geddy Lee in concert in 84, because the tuba and cello became uncool.. they were not on the same bill. me thinks it was 84.

Yes. We did meet up with Alex Sadkin in South Thoresby in Lincolnshire, where we were writing for 'Sparkle in the Rain' Pity he's not with us anymore, he was a nice guy. I really like Pete Walsh and Steve Lillywhite, and enjoyed working with them so much. East coast of the U.S. will be after Thanksgiving. Dates should include Boston, Washington, Philadelphia and N.Y.C. We will announce the dates on the 4GM site.

Even funnier, real life happening at Elvis's grave was when, my mate Ray McVeigh was there with Steve Jones from the Pistols, when they were in the Professionals together, and Jonesy got his cock out in front of the grave, when it was surrounded by weeping old ladies, and had his photograph taken....classic punk stuff
